Created an engaging and high-end training packet for new hires that included core materials, a study guide, and supplemental firm specific materials, which significantly increased sales team engagement and provided an exclusive learning experience.
CHALLENGE
The sales team sought a more robust, high-end training program for new hires, as the current program lacked engagement, and feedback indicated that the materials felt outdated. I was tasked with developing engaging training materials designed to capture new hires' interest and make them feel part of an exclusive learning experience. In addition to the core materials, I also had to include a supporting study guide as well as supplemental packets detailing how to do business with specific firms, all of which were included in the comprehensive training package.
OUTCOME
The new training packets significantly increased sales team engagement and included requested extras that added a sense of exclusivity, setting it apart from other training programs in the company. Key additions included flash cards as a study guide, a participant timeline outlining career-advancing courses, and firm-specific informational packets to provide an edge against the competition. Everything was packaged in a sleek, professional folder that included a notepad, pen for note-taking, and a souvenir cup.
