Designed a user-centered platform for Registered Investment Advisors that achieved a 58% positive response for its intuitive navigation and industry-specific content, reinforcing credibility and engagement.
CHALLENGE
The company aimed to create an end-to-end experience for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), a new venture to engage this audience with offerings like product solutions, client services, educational content, and thought leadership. My task was to design a user-centered platform that resonated with RIAs, using industry-specific language and an intuitive layout to foster credibility and engagement. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to build a streamlined site structure, ensuring every aspect—from content to design—aligned with RIA needs, business goals, and industry standards, resulting in a cohesive and impactful experience​​​​​​​.
OUTCOME
User testing feedback from RIAs was overwhelmingly positive—58% of respondents highlighted the platform’s simple design and easy navigation as standout features. The messaging was also well-received, with some noting its impact and strong alignment with their needs. RIAs also found the inclusion of mock client personas beneficial for illustrating financial journeys to prospective clients. Unfortunately, due to funding constraints, the project was canceled midway through development, leaving the concept unrealized despite its promising reception.
